160402: Eternal recurrence, solution through
Stephen Hawking adds, “Why does the universe go to all the bother of existing?”
Through the understanding of the model of the whole of reality panentheism establishes, we come to the conclusion that it is not the universe which goes to all the bother of existing but rather it is existence before creation of the physical universe which went to all the bother of creating ‘a’ and perhaps ‘many’ universes.
Multiple universes would not necessarily all have the same fundamental laws, same characteristics permeating throughout their boundaries, such characteristics as time, space, energy and matter.
But what of our universe? Why would a non-physical entity go to all the bother of creating a physical universe?
The basic problem confronting an ethereal existence of knowing, of awareness which has a characteristic of being omniscient is that named by Nietzsche as ‘eternal recurrence’.
If the Creator of the physical universe existed as a timeless entity or in other words existed independent of time and if said Creator knew everything that was known, then said Creator would have no choice but to constantly rerun the knowledge over and over and over again since time was limited which what was known was known or in other words there was a limit to knowledge.
A possible means of circumventing eternal recurrence, circumventing reviewing over and over again the knowledge possessed would be through the process of creating a means of creating what did not exist, or to put it another way would be to develop a mechanism where sparks of itself could experience and create what never before existed and then return to deliver said knowledge or creations into the Creator or into the library of knowledge available to the omniscient being.
This processing mechanism would be the physical universe placed within the pre-existing existence, placed within the Creator of the mechanism itself.
The term describing this model is pan-en-theism or all in the Creator.
Panentheism establishes the model of reality capable of answering the question: Why would the universe go to all the bother of existing?
The answer panentheism provides is: The physical universe did not go the bother of existing rather the Creator went to the bother of creating the universe in order to provide itself the means of circumventing eternal recurrence.
