This web site is all about you

Enough about your teacher. It is time to move on and begin focusing upon you and your journey.

Regarding your personal journeys

First and foremost, I wish for all of you peace and success in finding what it is you seek secondly, know what it is you seek is real and more exciting than you could ever imagine.

Second, know also the way to understanding is first preceded by seeking knowledge and the process to gaining knowledge lies in questioning, questioning deeply, questioning assertively, questioning relentlessly.

It is said there is nothing more powerful than to wish.

My wish is that the knowledge and understanding put forth on this web site will help you along your journey to know and understand what it is you are attempting to do and how to speed up the process to get to your end goal.

The last words belong appropriately to Jeanne De Salzmann, Ouspensky and last but definitely not least, Gurdjieff. May their words of wisdom aid you as you proceed in your journey along the Fourth Way.

Regarding questioning:

'The teaching is the guide, and only he who questions more deeply can be responsible to serve. '
The Reality of Being, The Fourth Way of Gurdjieff, Jeanne De Salzmann, Shambhala, 2010, p. 109

Regarding intentions

“The quicker a man grasps the aim of the work  which is being executed, the quicker can he become useful to it and the more will he be able to get from it for himself.”   Gurdiieff quote
In Search of the Miraculous, The Teachings of Gurdjieff, P. D. Ouspensky, Harcourt, Inc., 1949, 1977, p313

Regarding your personal journeys

‘... one had to experience Presence as a “second body”  in order to have a stability and independence that could be free from outside influences.
… the concept without the experience was not enough.’
Gurdjieff quote
The Reality of Being, The Fourth Way of Gurdjieff,
Jeanne De Salzmann, Shambhala, 2010, p. xvii

Intentions of the 'teacher' must be 'pure'

But how can my intentions be ‘pure’ when it appears proceeds from the sale of the book, A Primer for the Fourth Way, would line my pockets. It was never my intent, then or now, to profit from the second book in the third trilogy I have been privileged to give to humankind. My intent was and is to offer the proceeds from this book to the Gurdjieff Foundation Organization of Cleveland. I made this same offer to the Theosophical Society of Detroit for the proceeds of the first book of this third trilogy, A Primer For The

Secret Doctrine, but the offer was rejected by the Theosophical Society. (The book now sells on line at a cost basis level.)

But why would I not take a profit from this book or from the thirty some books and tractates I have written?

My contact with the ethereal, my contact (see Chapter 6) with the council of elders located within the ethereal led me to a mutual agreement with the council: I would be given what I always sought. I would be given knowledge and understanding of reality and in return I was to disseminate the information with no restrictions attached other than an agreement by those using the information to remain true to the concepts I have put forward if and when they pass on the information to others (see copyright on web site Panentheism.com).

I knew of my obligation with the Council of Elders long before I joined the Gurdjieff Organization. Before I joined the Gurdjieff Society, I had, over the span of twenty years, written two trilogies and had just finished the first book in the third trilogy: A Primer for

the Secret Doctrine : Workbook: Understanding Reality (The generic book published under the title: Understanding Reality). The primer was written for the Theosophical Society which I had attended for three years while I completed the book.

I was made aware through the Council of Elders that two more books in the series needed to be written: Book 2. Understanding Self and book 3. Understanding The Higher (? The exact subject and nature of this book is yet to emerge.).

Before I joined the Gurdjieff Society, I was having trouble with the second book: Understanding Self. The concepts were there but the nucleus of the written approach was missing. After floundering about for a considerable length of time, I joined the Gurdjieff Society of southeast Michigan. What I learned provided me with the validation that I was not crazy nor was I delusional for doing what I was doing. What I had experienced was real.

Now you know ‘the why’ regarding all my intents. I am not ‘a confused slave’ but rather, as they say, ‘an obedient servant’. I have given my word to the Council of Elders found within the second reality, found within the ethereal, that I would disperse, free of all profit, what it is the Council of Elders have given me.

As such I am here to be your teacher

Regarding L4/H1 continued: Part 3 - The H1

Second: Regarding H1s

H1s act as channels for new knowledge and new understanding. H1s act as conduits for new knowledge and new understanding to travel from the reality of the incorporeal to the reality of the corporeal, a means by which new knowledge and understanding flows from the ethereal into the physical.

To profess being an H1 does not elevate a person’s stature but rather quite the opposite.

An H1 creates nothing, invents nothing, generates no new scientific revelations and generates no new mathematical proofs. An H1 is nothing but a pipe, a culvert, an aqueduct, a channel through which knowledge and understanding passes from one world to another. There is no intelligence involved, no creativity, no inventiveness, no resourcefulness, no vision, no originality, no imagination … involved. A pipe is a pipe and simply does what a pipe does and that is acts as a conduit, pure and simple.

Regarding level 4/H1 continued: Part 2

Continuing with Gurdjieff's quote regarding level 4:

“Man number four is not born ready-made. He is born one, two, or three, and becomes four only as a result of efforts of a definite character …

… Man number four already stands on a different level to man number one, two, and three; he has a permanent center of gravity which consists in his ideas, in his valuation of the work, and in his relation to the school. In addition, his psychic centers have already begun to be balanced; one center in him cannot have such preponderance over others as is the case with people of the first three categories. He already begins to know himself and begins to know whither he is going. [Author’s emphasis]”

Gurdjieff quote
In Search of the Miraculous, The Teachings of Gurdjieff, P. D. Ouspensky, Harcourt, Inc., 1949, 1977, p72.

There are more level 4s in society than recognized. The term ‘level 4’ is a term most familiar to Fourth Way members and thus not readily familiar to the general public.

There are as many degrees of level 4 as there are degrees of mathematical ability.

But why attach the label of level 4 so conspicuously to myself?

I am not professing to be a high level 4. Quite the contrary, I am a lower tier novice level 4, but a level 4 nevertheless.

I categorize myself because I am not about to present this book as some ramblings of an old fool. This book emerges through a particular type of person who has experienced in a particular manner and who has experienced uniquely after much effort, persistence, and dedication.

Part of the experiencing involved committing to pass unique knowledge and unique understanding to you in order to access additional knowledge and understanding.

This is not a first time writing. This is not a first time collection of thoughts. This book represents a culmination of forty years of seeking followed by twenty years of work all of which, with the exception of this third trilogy of which this book is number two in the series, is found on the website: www.panentheism.com.

All the work of the past twenty years came through me not from me.

Which brings us to the concept of H1s.

Arrogance and the teacher

10/18/2016

There is an ancient saying: "When the student is ready a teacher will appear."

Many times, however, the teacher is not recognized for many times, in fact most times, the student is looking for the teacher blinded by their own expectations of just what the teacher should look like, act like and or talk like.

Humility is not necessary a characteristic of 'the' teacher' nor is perfection.

A student must be alert and not let their personal bias obscure their vision as they look for the teacher.
For teachers to declare they have knowledge is only a sign of arrogance if in fact said teacher/s have no such knowledge.

First: Regarding Level 4 /H1: Part 1

Yes I am a level 4. So … Who cares!!!!!

There are many myths regarding level 4s. Level 4s come in all shapes and sizes. There are as many degrees of level 4 ability as there are degrees of musical abilities.

“
Man number four is not born ready-made. He is born one, two, or three, and becomes four only as a result of efforts of a definite character …
