King James 2000: Genesis 1: 27:
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
King James 2000: Genesis 1: 27:
Humans are diverse in their physical characteristics. No two are alike. But how can this be if we are all made in ‘image’ of the Creator of the physical???
The answer lies in the understanding panentheism provides regarding our true image, our true essence.
If the Creator of the physical universe existed before the physical, that would imply the Creator/Brahma/God is not physical in nature and likewise your true image is not physical in nature since your true image was made in the image of the Creator of the physical.
The Creator has none of the physical characteristics attached to our physical machine.
The Creator has no color, no gender, no arms, no legs, no torso, no wants and needs our physical machines impose upon each and everyone of us.
We are all, each and everyone of us, siblings of each other.
As such panentheism provides the rationalization needed to demonstrate we are all equal, all equally granted the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
The morality emerges: We should treat each as we would treat God/Brahma.
Does this morality imply we should never interfere with a person abusing another, a person threatening another, a person interfering with another’s journey through the physical?
Interfering with the above is not contrary to a panentheism ethic, for the above is understood to be a case of a physical machine being in control as opposed to the spiritual self of the individual being in charge.
We have an obligation first to protect the journey of individuals to travel freely and secondly to travel freely ourselves.
You being a child of the Creator are not nothing. If Brahma/God has significance than you likewise have significance. No one should take themselves to be meaningless. One may not have the privilege of know what their meaning in life is but rest assured as surely as the Creator exists, your meaning exists, hidden maybe, but exists nonetheless.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
